Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble pizza orders according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate Aloha POS and Micros POS systems accurately for order processing, payments, and sales tracking.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, including food handling and sanitation protocols.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing ingredients, assembling pizzas, and restocking supplies.
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times, adhering to proper food handling procedures.
- Support bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining environment when needed.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service delivery.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation or food industry roles such as quick service or fast food restaurants preferred.
- Proficiency with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and quick calculations during transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with cashiering, upselling, and sales techniques to maximize revenue opportunities.
