Duties
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling techniques and adhering to food safety regulations.
- Support cooking processes by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors, ensuring timely delivery of dishes.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies, ingredients, and equipment using safe lifting practices to maintain a safe workspace.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment through regular bussing and sanitation routines.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of food safety standards is a plus.
- Minimal experience required.
- Hands on training for simple menu assembly.
- Must be 18 with your own transportation and afternoon to night availability.
- Small scratch kitchen with easy to produce menu items and plating.
- Part time availability with the opportunity for full time as hours increase.
