Description for Pouch Assistant:
- Assist machine operators to ensure the highest quality packaging output across automated lines.
- Help perform machine changeovers and support preventative maintenance (PM) logs on equipment.
- Insert valves on valving equipment, change out heavy material rolls, and cut out web splices.
- Collect and stage raw production supplies correctly across warehouse bays as directed by operators.
- Execute routine visual quality control checks and maintain accurate daily production reports.
- Keep machinery zones orderly by removing trash and plastic line trim continuously.
Details for Pouch Assistant:
- Pay Rate: $17.13 / hour.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | Some Saturdays and overtime required based on production demands.
- Shift Options: Day Shift (6am-2:30pm) | Swing Shift (2pm-10:30pm) | Graveyard (10pm-6:30am).
- Location: Woodland, WA.
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire.
Requirements for Pouch Assistant:
- Prior experience in manufacturing or production is a plus, but no experience is required (we will train you!).
- Must understand and strictly follow all core facility GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) rules.
- Strong attention to detail, high mechanical aptitude, and clear communication habits.
- Physical capability to handle active line labor, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and reliable personal transportation.
