Yard Worker

American Workforce Group has partnered with Bigfoot Pipe & Piling to hire a full-time Manufacturing Yard Worker in Puyallup, WA. Secure a stable daytime routine, learn heavy equipment operation, and jumpstart your career with a booming industry leader!

• Process, trim, and prepare steel pipes and industrial beams to customer order specifications.
• Operate industrial cutting torches and metal fabrication hand tools safely.
• Load and unload commercial trucks and trailers with heavy steel payloads.
• Train to safely operate large forklifts and articulating loaders in a fast-paced yard.
• Work cooperatively with the yard crew to maintain clean, organized, and safe staging zones.

• Pay Rate: $21.00 / hour.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday | Mon-Thu: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Fri: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
• Location: Puyallup, WA.
• Hiring Process: Quick Teams interview with the Director of Ops, followed by a team meet-and-greet. Hiring ASAP!

• Prior metalworking, steel fabrication, or industrial shop experience required.
• Must be able to accurately read a standard tape measure.
• Experience using oxy-fuel or plasma cutting torches is highly preferred.
• Forklift or heavy equipment exposure is a major plus.
• Must be comfortable handling physical labor and working outside year-round in all weather conditions.
