The base salary range represents a good faith salary range for this position. This position is eligible for annual incentive pay and has the opportunity for continued salary growth. The Fleet Operations Analyst is responsible for curating, analyzing, and interpreting data related to the company's fleet to identify trends, cost inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. This role provides insights, and recommendations to optimize fleet total cost of ownership, asset performance, & expense forecasts through detailed reporting and data visualization. This role is responsible for monitoring departmental metrics, providing decision support for fleet initiatives, and tracking value delivery.

Primary Role
The Fleet Operations Analyst is responsible for curating, analyzing, and interpreting data related to the company's fleet to identify trends, cost inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. This role provides insights, and recommendations to optimize fleet total cost of ownership, asset performance, & expense forecasts through detailed reporting and data visualization. This role is responsible for monitoring departmental metrics, providing decision support for fleet initiatives, and tracking value delivery.
Key Accountabilities
- Gather data from various sources to develop performance and operational metrics providing periodic reporting on performance metrics and leading performance indicators at various levels of the organization
- Analyze performance and operational data to identify trends, predict future needs, and optimize fleet total cost of ownership
- Develop benchmark performance measures to gauge business performance relative to enterprise peers and overall industry standards
- Validate inventory and operational data within and across multiple fleet systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity is maintained, identifying automation opportunities for synchronization and collaborating with IT to execute on those opportunities
- Provide reports, files, charts, or other data as needed to support projects, initiatives, rate cases or other general inquiries
- Work collaboratively with Operational Performance & Planning and other functions to efficiently disseminate fleet related information for an enhance stakeholder experience
- Strong understanding of data management, integrity, and controls
- Understands core concepts of data management conventions and reporting
- Thorough understanding of standard business practices and principles
- Thorough understanding of, and ability to apply, key principles of financial analysis, and technology solutions
- Fundamental knowledge of fleet asset management principles and best practices preferred
- Regulated utility accounting and revenue modeling preferred
- Proficiency in the development of metrics, KPI's and overall business intelligence architecture.
- Strong understanding of data management, integrity, and controls
- Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity for understanding how & why data issues occur
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong working knowledge of other MS Office Suite applications
- Strong quantitative skills (e.g., analytical, technical, problem solving)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (e.g., fluency in report writing and presentations)
- Effective interpersonal skills (e.g., persuasion, negotiation, listening, cooperation, tact, diplomacy, problem solving, internal consulting)
- Leadership presence (e.g., ability to deal effectively and maintain collaborative relationships with Company senior management and other key stakeholders)
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business, finance, supply chain or related field required. Relevant work experience in lieu of degree may be considered
- With a bachelor’s degree 4 years of experience, without a bachelor’s degree 8 years of experience
- Up to 10%, as required
