Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for employees and visitors.
Duties:
· General cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained in good condition, including floors, rugs, windows, mirrors and walls
· Vacuum, sweep, scrub, and mop floors
· Cleaning and stock restrooms
· Clean up spills with appropriate equipment
· Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones
· Collect and dispose the trash
· Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
· Maintain cleaning inventory, placing orders for new products when needed
· Organized janitorial storage areas
· Notify supervisor of repairs
· Follow OSHA, CDC & Other regulatory agencies guidance for healthcare practice.
· Perform other duties & functions as requested by supervisor, manager, or director.
Skills:
· Good communication skills
· Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them
· Ability to lift and move at least 25 pounds
· Attention to detail
· Ability to follow directions from a supervisor
· Good organization skills
· Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners
· Excellent time-management skills
Evening hours will vary based on office closing times.
