The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement software applications using Cognos.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
• Maintain and enhance existing software applications to improve functionality and performance.
• Conduct testing and debugging of software applications to ensure quality and reliability.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software-related issues.
• Document software specifications, processes, and user manuals.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to software development and Cognos.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge and experience with Cognos, including report development and dashboard creation.
• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to software development.
• Experience with database management and SQL.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with other BI tools and software development methodologies.
• Experience in Agile development practices.
• Knowledge of data visualization techniques.
• Understanding of cloud computing and deployment strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Cognos or software development are a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
