American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit position in Rock Island, IL, requiring at least 2 years of cardiac stepdown experience and active IL and IA RN licenses.

• Night shift position, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Hospital-based Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
• Patient ratio of 1:4–5
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required across multiple campuses (Rock Island, Bettendorf, Moline, and Muscatine) within the same discipline
• EMR: Epic (experience required)
• 13-week contract

• Active IL RN license required at time of consideration
• Active IA RN license also required; if not yet active, proof of application for an Iowa single-state or compact RN license must be provided during compliance
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or ARC) required — pending certifications not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac stepdown/progressive care experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Driver's license required
• One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years preferred

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Contributes clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team in the management of stepdown/progressive care patients
• Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are eligible to apply
• Travelers who were employed by this health system within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
