Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract at an academic medical center in Huntington, WV, with strong ortho, neuro, and trauma experience required.
Details
- Work in the Operating Room of a 303-bed regional academic medical center serving patients from West Virginia, eastern Kentucky, and southern Ohio
- Ortho, neuro, and trauma surgical cases
- Shift hours are 11:00–23:00 (3x12-hour shifts)
- Flexible shift scheduling with a preferred 11:00–23:00 start time
- Call coverage required for 2 shifts per month
- Charting is done in Cerner
Requirements
- Active WV or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong OR experience in orthopedic, neurological, and trauma surgery required
- Academic medical center experience preferred given the facility setting
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
