Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Illinois, requiring an active IL RN license and at least 2 years of OR experience.
Details
- Hospital Operating Room setting
- Heavy caseload of orthopedic, urology, spine, and robotic procedures
- 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (0800–1830)
- Day shift schedule
- On-call required: 1 weeknight and 2 weekend days per month, with potential for additional call based on departmental need
- Floating to other facilities may be required
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, and documenting complete and accurate medical records
- Must be able to recognize and report changes in patient condition using sound clinical judgment
