Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular OR RN for a 13-week travel contract supporting cardiac surgical care across a diverse patient population, with rotating weekend requirements.
Details
- Work setting is a hospital Operating Room department specializing in cardiac surgery
- Patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and elderly patients
- Serves both same-day surgical and inpatient admission cases across a variety of provider specialties
- Day shift with a varied schedule and rotating weekends
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Oregon RN license currently in hand
- OR RN license required
- Current BLS (Healthcare Provider level) and ACLS (AHA) required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR, or completion of an approved didactic pre-operative nursing course
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an ICU/PCU and/or medical-surgical acute care setting
- CVOR/Open Heart experience preferred
- ICU experience preferred
- Scrubbing experience preferred
