Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN proficient in Labor & Delivery to manage both med/surg and OB patients through delivery and postpartum care on night shift.
Details
- Med/Surg unit with additional coverage for L&D patients as needed
- Med/Surg patient ratio of 1:4 and L&D ratio of 1:1
- Night shift, 3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00, every other weekend
- No scheduled on-call hours, unless on low census status and asked to be on-call for an OB patient
- May float to different units as a traveler
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Required certifications: ACLS and NRP
- One reference required
- Proficiency in Labor & Delivery patient management required
Additional Information
- Manage med/surg patients while remaining available to be pulled for OB patients presenting for delivery and postpartum care
- Locals accepted at the same rate
