Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift assignment requiring a VA or compact RN license and at least one year of experience.
Details
- Medical Surgical Combination unit within a 175-bed acute care hospital
- Patient population spans all ages
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
- Uses GE equipment and Meditech/PACS-NovaRad EHR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (Virginia or Compact) required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum one year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Experience with general abdomen, routine vascular, small parts, pelvic, and OB required
- RVT certification with at least one year experience preferred
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- AHA certifications required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care across a diverse Med/Surg patient population
- Scrubs of any color combination are acceptable
- Jeans and tee shirts are not permitted as part of the dress code
- Permanent residence must be more than 60 miles from the facility
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis
