Description
American Traveler is hiring a first-time-traveler-friendly RN for an Outpatient Clinic position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring Epic EMR experience and a MT or compact RN license.
Details
- Works in a family practice outpatient clinic setting within a 22-bed Critical Access Hospital
- Supports patient care including in-basket work, follow-up needs, point-of-care (POC) testing, and immunizations
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 5 days per week (8-hour shifts); 4x10-hour shift schedule may be available as an option
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- No block schedule required
- Floating between units and across all facilities within the state is expected and required
- EMR: Epic (experience required)
Requirements
- Active MT RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrubs may be any color; OR scrubs are provided by the facility
- No parking fees
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive time-off requests may impact the hiring process
- All RTO must be disclosed prior to submission — requests made after submission or offer may be denied and could put the assignment at risk
