Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position requiring prior travel experience and TN or compact RN license.
Details
- Med/Surg Float Pool within a hospital setting
- Floats across 5 Med/Surg units as needed, with additional floating to the ER
- Adult patient population (18 ) with general medical-surgical needs
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:6
- 12-hour night shifts, 7p-7a, 36 hours per week
- No block schedule offered; must remain flexible to meet unit staffing needs
- Weekend shifts required
- Unit creates the schedule
- Uses Cerner EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (TN or Compact) required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Scrub color required: Navy
- No time off approved from 9/19 through 10/17 due to Epic Go Live
- Orientation available only on specific dates: 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, or 11/16
- Local candidates accepted, with a 75-mile radius rule determining eligibility for the travel rate
