Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a 12-hour night shift assignment requiring an active MA RN license and dysrhythmia/medication testing during onboarding.
Details
- 8-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit focused on geriatric patients with behavioral disturbances and medical issues, including dementia, confusion, and impulsivity
- Patient ratio of 4:1
- 1-2 CNAs on the unit during day shift
- 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
- Weekends and holidays required
- No floating or charge responsibilities required
- Biweekly orientation
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- Must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medication tests during onboarding with only one attempt allowed (85% passing score, no remediation)
- Required vaccines include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
Additional Information
- Care for elderly patients with behavioral and cognitive challenges alongside medical conditions
- All RTO requests must be submitted prior to consideration
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
- Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break from any BILH facility before returning
- Nurse Manager will conduct interviews and extend offers
