Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week LTC/SNF night shift travel contract in Bottineau, ND, requiring at least 1 year of experience and an active ND or compact RN license.
Details
- Long-term care / skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting with 48 beds
- Common patient diagnoses include dementia, heart disease, COPD, CKD, and depression
- Nurse-to-resident ratio: 2 nurses per 48 residents on shift (typically 1 LPN on a 12-hour shift and 1 certified medication aide on a 10-hour shift); 1 LPN at NOC
- RN Unit Manager also present during day shift (8–10 hours)
- 12-hour night shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- Every other weekend and every other holiday required
- Uses Point Click Care (PCC) EMR
- No on-call or call-back responsibilities
Requirements
- Active ND or compact RN license, in hand and active at time of consideration (pending licensure not accepted)
- Current BLS certification required (copy of active certification required; pending certifications not accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; no exceptions
- LTC/SNF experience strongly applicable given the care setting
- 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
- Valid driver's license required

- Candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
- Local candidates are accepted
