Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Long-Term Care position at a rehabilitation and nursing center in New York, caring for Alzheimer's and dementia patients with a day shift schedule.
Details
- Position is based in a 300-bed long-term care rehabilitation and nursing center
- Patient population consists primarily of individuals with Alzheimer's and dementia
- Responsibilities include medication administration (med pass)
- EMR system is PointClickCare (experience preferred but not required)
- Day shift: 5x8-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 2:45 PM
- Every other weekend is required
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- LTC experience preferred; candidates with rehab, med/surg, or other recent hospital experience will also be considered
- COVID vaccination required for eligibility
