Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring an active MA RN license and experience providing family-centered OB care including vaginal and C-section deliveries.

Details

• Hospital-based OB/GYN unit specializing in Labor & Delivery
• Patient population includes antepartum, laboring, vaginal and C-section delivery, postpartum, newborn, and gynecological patients
• Schedule: three 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Postpartum nursing background may also be considered for this role
• EMR: Epic (charting experience applicable)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP — all must be AHA-accredited
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification required; NCC or AWHONN accepted with 2-year renewal
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions
• Two professional references required
• Prior L&D or postpartum RN experience

• Provides family-centered care across the full OB spectrum, including antepartum, intrapartum, delivery (vaginal and C-section), postpartum, newborn, and gynecological care
• Collaborates within an interdisciplinary team and must be able to communicate effectively with patients across varying intellectual levels and physical abilities
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced travel pay rate
• No validated parking available at this Boston location; public transportation or paid public parking lots ($17–$22/day) are the available options
• Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
• RTO requests must be disclosed prior to consideration
