Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a critical access hospital, requiring at least 2 years of experience and a willingness to float to Med/Surg.
Details
- Work setting is a 25-bed critical access hospital
- Primary unit is Labor & Delivery, with required floating to Med/Surg when OB census is low
- Responsibilities span L&D, postpartum, nursery, mother/baby care, and Med/Surg patient care
- Position works at least half-time on Med/Surg
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- EMR: Meditech
Requirements
- Active MO or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS
- Fetal monitoring experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Orientation to Med/Surg will be provided — prior Med/Surg experience is not required
- When OB census is zero, the nurse may be assigned to assist on Med/Surg as a helper or take patients as needed
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
