Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a part-time ICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and willingness to float to additional campuses.
Details
- Part-time position in a hospital ICU setting
- Night shift schedule: 2x12-hour shifts (19:00β07:00)
- Typical patient-to-nurse staffing ratio is 3:1
- Floating to other campus ICU units (Bucyrus & Galion) may be required if census drops
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- If placed on-call, must be able to return to the facility within 1 hour
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent, consecutive ICU experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Knowledge of medication scanning required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- All missed shifts must be made up
- If assigned to work a weekend during an RTO period, the traveler is responsible for finding coverage
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the contract
- Former permanent employees of this facility must wait at least 6 months before being considered for a position
