Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position in West Virginia, requiring 2 years of ICU experience, ACLS, and a WV or compact RN license.
Details
- ICU setting within an inpatient hospital environment
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, working 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts per week on a 36/48-hour biweekly schedule
- Every other weekend required
- Floating within scope of practice is required
- Meditech EMR used
Requirements
- Active WV RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of current ICU experience required
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
Additional Information
- Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
- Orientation is held on a biweekly basis
- Patient ratios may fluctuate based on census and staffing
