Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring a NC or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.
Details
- Work in the ICU of a full-service hospital with 6 ICU beds
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Common diagnoses/treatments include COPD exacerbation
- Uses Meditech EHR system
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required
- No call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
- AHA certifications required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing services to adult and geriatric ICU patients
- Weekly orientation held on Mondays
- Navy blue scrubs required as part of dress code
- Facility is Joint Commission accredited
- Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
