Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position that also requires willingness to float to Med/Surg/Tele, with an Iowa or Compact RN license required.
Details
- Position is based in a Med/Surg unit with cross-coverage expected in the Emergency Department
- Day shift schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- 13-week contract
- Every third weekend required
- Every other holiday required
Requirements
- Active IA or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association required
- Current PALS or ENPC certification required for ED assignments
- ER nursing background and qualifications required
- Willingness and ability to float between the ED and Med/Surg/Tele units required
- TNCC and NIHSS certifications required
Additional Information
- Must be prepared to work in both the Emergency Department and Med/Surg/Tele settings throughout the assignment
- COVID vaccination card required for consideration
- References required for consideration
- License verification via Nursys required
- Local candidates are accepted for this position in Iowa
