American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a 40-hour variable shift assignment at a Level II Trauma Center requiring ARRT (R) certification and OR/C-arm experience.

• Level II Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center with 411 beds
• Imaging department with 3 X-Ray rooms (2 general X-Ray, 1 Fluoroscopy)
• Care areas include outpatient, inpatient ED/ICU/MedSurg, and Operating Room
• Primarily adult/geriatric patients with some pediatric/neonatal cases
• Performs Fluoroscopy and C-Arm procedures in OR, Ortho/Ortho Trauma, ICU, MedSurg, and ER
• Uses Cerner EMR and Enterprise Imaging AGFA PACS
• Equipment includes Siemens Ysio, Siemens Multix Fusion, Siemens Artis Zee, OEC/Siemens/Ziehm C-Arms, and Shimadzu DR Portables
• 40 hours per week on a variable shift schedule with 4-week scheduling cycles
• Weekend rotation required, with specifics provided at time of interview
• No on-call requirements
• Floating limited to a fixed location other than OR or portables for inpatient scans

• BLS certification required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• ME state license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Radiology, depending on type of experience
• OR/C-arm experience required
• Experience with adult, geriatric, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations required
• Experience with ED/ICU/MedSurg and Operating Room imaging preferred

• Support provided by Lead Tech, Department Administration, Internal Transport, and on-site Radiologist
• Orientation lasts 1-1.5 weeks depending on experience and comfort level
• Holiday coverage is done in rotation with other technologists
• RTO requires manager approval
• Scrubs may be any solid professional color or facility-provided if needed
• Free parking available on site
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Travelers with 1 year of experience will be considered depending on experience type
• Flu vaccination required for clearance to start, with medical exemptions only accepted with sufficient review time
• Local candidates accepted
