Description
American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 4-5 years of experience and multiple specialty certifications.
Details
- 23-bed Emergency Department setting
- Patient ratios of 4 to 6
- Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend may be required
- 25-mile float policy between facilities as needed
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI or MOAB (CPI/MOAB required prior to start)
- 4-5 years of ED nursing experience required
- Charge experience a plus
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Driver's License required for consideration
- 2 professional references required
Additional Information
- Standard ED education modules required
- No scrub color requirements
- Local candidates are not eligible for renewals or extensions
- Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local
- RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the contract length
- First-time travelers may be considered
