Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring Level IV trauma experience and a minimum of 2 years of ED experience.
Details
- Work in a 14-bed Emergency Services department in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (with a 6:45 PM–7:15 AM window)
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- EMR system: MEDHOST-EDIS
- 13-week contract
- No on-call or call-back requirements
- No block scheduling
Requirements
- Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
- Level IV trauma experience required
- Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Solid color scrubs required (any color)
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
- Parking is available in front of the hospital
