Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed RN, ARRT, or RCIS for a 13-week Cardiac Cath Lab travel assignment requiring at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience and on-call availability.
Details
- Acute care Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Performs procedures including LHC, LERO, RHC, and PM/ICD/BI-V insertion
- Utilizes specialized equipment including Impella, IABP, Shockwave, and Rotablation
- Charting system is Xper; candidates without prior Xper experience will be assigned to circulate/scrub rather than monitor cases
- Average of 8 cases per weekday and 6 cases on weekends
- Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- On-call required at approximately 30% frequency; weekday on-call runs Monday–Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:30 AM, and weekend on-call runs Friday at 4:00 PM through Monday at 7:30 AM
- 30-minute on-call response time required; overnight call room is available
Requirements
- Active MO or Compact RN license, or ARRT or RCIS credential required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Experience with LHC, LERO, RHC, and PM/ICD/BI-V insertion strongly preferred
- Experience with Xper charting preferred
- Experience with Impella, IABP, Shockwave, and Rotablation equipment preferred

- BSN is not required for this position
