Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week EP Lab travel assignment in Charleston, SC, requiring a minimum of 2 years of EP experience including scrubbing ablations and device implants.
Details
- Position is based in a 315-bed acute care hospital EP Lab in Charleston, SC
- One of the busiest EP programs within the HCA health system
- Procedures performed include ablations (A-Fib, SVT, AV Node) and implants (PPMs, ICDs, Bi-Vs, ILRs, Watchman)
- GE equipment is used in the lab
- Meditech is the documentation system
- Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with a 36–40 hour work week
- 4-day work weeks with an alternating day off each week
- No floating required
Requirements
- Active SC or compact RN license required
- Current ACLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- RCIS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent EP lab experience required
- Hands-on scrubbing experience with EP procedures including ablations and device implants required
- Ability to monitor is a plus
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
Additional Information
- Newly renovated EP lab with an experienced, collaborative team
- Surgical scrubs required; scrubs can be provided
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates will be considered
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- The facility is a Level II Trauma Center and an HCA Healthcare facility
