Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Non-Invasive Cardiology stepdown unit requiring 2 years of experience and an active IL RN license.
Details
- Work in the Non-Invasive Cardiology Unit, a stepdown unit within an acute care, Level 2 trauma hospital
- Care for patients undergoing heart function tests and diagnostic procedures including EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, heart monitors, and cardiac CTs
- Provide both inpatient and outpatient testing and procedures
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and a multidisciplinary care team
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday
- On-call required every third weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 7am-12pm)
- Uses EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- BSN not required
