Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for an urgent care setting, with ARRT and SCRQSA credentials required and weekend availability.
Details
- Work setting is an adult outpatient urgent care environment, with potential floating to additional urgent care campuses in Spartanburg, Gaffney, and Greenville, SC
- Variable day and evening shifts totaling 40 hours per week; day shifts range from 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, and evening shifts range from 2:00 PM–9:30 PM
- Weekend shifts are required
- When not performing X-rays, techs are expected to room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical and pharmacy information in the chart
- Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- ARRT (R) and SCRQSA certifications required
- Current BLS required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience considered on a case-by-case basis; 2 years preferred
- State license required if applicable; pending license accepted but must be obtained prior to start
- 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for this position

Additional Information
- Responsibilities include performing X-rays as well as rooming patients, taking vital signs, and updating medical and pharmacy information in patient charts when imaging volume is low
- A Cardiac Dysrhythmia pass/fail test is administered on the first day of orientation; candidates have one opportunity to pass
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial application; RTO requests made after submission will not be honored
- Attendance policy is in effect: missing more than two shifts during the 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review and potential cancellation
- Former permanent staff of this health system are not eligible to return as travelers
