Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2 years of orthopedic outpatient experience for a hospital-based clinic position.
Details
- Outpatient PT clinic setting within a hospital
- Day shift options of 4x10s (7:00-17:30) or 5x8s (8:00-16:30)
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Epic charting system used
Requirements
- Current CO state license required (allow up to 6 weeks for licensure)
- BLS certification required (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of outpatient orthopedic PT experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Skilled in assessment, ROM techniques, gait training, and orthopedic/neurologic condition management
- Experience with modalities such as e-stim, TENS, cervical/lumbar traction, and moist heat
- Proficient in documentation including evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, and home exercise program development
- Focus on orthopedic conditions including joint replacements, spinal conditions, and sports medicine cases
- Experience with neurologic populations such as post-stroke and Parkinson's patients is a plus
- Completion of facility-specific training modules required within the first week of assignment
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates previously employed by the health system or its affiliates may be subject to eligibility restrictions
- Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility may be considered under a local rate
- Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during select weeks
