American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment, with Epic EMR experience required.

• Acute care hospital setting with 277 staffed beds
• OT Acute Care Hospital unit
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Float between all facilities within the state may be required
• Charting via Epic EMR
• Free parking available on site

• Current, active OT license (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of OT experience in an acute care setting
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in fall/risk assessment, billing, infection prevention, and functional activities
• Experience with acute and chronic disorder management
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• 16-hour orientation provided
• Block scheduling may be accommodated at the manager's discretion
• Any requested time off must be disclosed upfront; minimal RTO is strongly preferred
• Scrubs may be any solid color; royal blue should be avoided
• Former permanent employees of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Local candidates are accepted
• Travelers who refuse floating assignments may be subject to termination of their assignment
