Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of independent MRI experience in an acute care setting for a 13-week rotating day/evening assignment in Needham, MA.
Details
- Work in the MRI unit of a 75-bed acute care hospital
- Average daily caseload of 30–35 cases across 2 units
- 8-hour rotating day/evening shifts totaling 40 hours per week
- Schedule rotates: Mondays 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Tuesday–Thursday 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
- No float requirement for this position
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of independent MRI experience in an acute care facility
- ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- MA license required if applicable
Additional Information
- Orientation is typically 3–4 days
- Any color scrubs are acceptable
- COVID vaccine and booster, as well as flu vaccine, are required (medical exemptions are allowed)
- Flu vaccine documentation required during flu season
- Candidates must have been separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least 6 months and be in good standing to be considered (applies to all previous employee types: travel, permanent, and per diem)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis for this specialty
- Previous travel experience is not required for this position
