Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel MRI Technologist for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring ARRT(MR) certification and at least 1 year of recent MRI experience.
Details
- Hospital-based MRI Imaging department
- Serves both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Imaging scope includes soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with and without contrast media
- Day shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- Call rotation every third weekend, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent MRI experience required
- ARRT(MR) and BLS required
- State license required if applicable
- No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
- Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Perform timely MRI imaging services under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols, including adjusting imaging parameters for various anatomical studies with or without contrast
- Graduation from an accredited AMA radiology program and ARRT general radiography registration are preferred but not required
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
