What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI Technologist – Travel Job position at Jackson Therapy Partners?
Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI procedures, prepare and position patients, and operate MRI scanners according to physician instructions and departmental protocols. The MRI Technologist will provide timely imaging services for both inpatients and outpatients and will adjust imaging parameters for studies of soft tissue, vascular, neurologic, spinal, joint, and extremity anatomy with or without contrast.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) registry preferred when specified by client.
- BLS certification.
- At least 1 year recent MRI experience. Client requires 1 years recent MRI experience.
- Ability to perform MRI exams for soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without contrast.
- State licensure as a radiologic technologist if required by the state.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited AMA school preferred.
- ARRT registration with MR credential preferred when not already listed as required.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0800-1830.
- Shift Days: Monday through Thursday.
