American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for an academic medical center setting requiring ARRT(MR) certification and 1-2 years of MRI staff experience.

• MRI Neuro unit within Radiology department at an academic medical center
• Performs Neuro, Abdominal, and Musculoskeletal (MSK) MRI imaging
• 13-week assignment with Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
• Day shift options of 6:30AM-3PM or 8:30AM-5PM, or evening shift 2PM-10:30PM
• No rotation required between day and evening shifts
• No call, no overnights, and no holiday coverage required
• Uses Epic for charting

• ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance (MR) required
• Active MR license required if applicable
• BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program required
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience as a staff tech required, 2 years preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Must demonstrate competence with a variety of equipment and technology
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
• Ability to work independently in an organized, efficient, and multifunctional manner

• Produces high-quality diagnostic images meeting departmental imaging standards
• Practices safety guidelines for self, staff, and patients
• Fosters teamwork through effective communication
• Works in a high-acuity academic medical center environment
• Candidates should be adaptable and team-oriented
