Description
American Traveler is hiring a night-shift CT/X-ray Technologist with at least 1 year of CT and X-ray experience for a radiology department serving outpatient and ED patients.
Details
- Radiology department with 8 inpatient beds, mainly serving outpatient and ED patients
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- CT equipment: Toshiba
- EMR: Epic
- Night shift, 3x12 schedule
- Normally no call requirement
- Float requirement between CT and X-ray
- Works independently for part of the shift
- Transports patients between ED and Radiology
Requirements
- BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
- License required if applicable
- Minimum of 1 year of CT and X-ray experience required
- Able to perform CT and radiographic diagnostic procedures independently without constant supervision
- Responsible for preparing orders and finalizing exams within the EMR
Additional Information
- Black scrubs required; no non-Mercy branded t-shirts permitted
- Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1, exemptions must be client approved
- Up to 5 days of RTO allowed but must be made up during the assignment
- Accepts local candidates, though bill rate is reduced for those within 50 miles of the facility
- Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year break or facility change
- No employment gaps of 90 days within the past 12 months
