Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift acute care role requiring 3 years of X-Ray and CT experience and both NV and CA licensure.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting within the CT/X-Ray department
- Performs both scheduled outpatient and ER x-ray and CT procedures
- Night shift with low patient volume, ranging from 5 to 25 patients per shift
- Works as part of a 2-staff team within the department
- Primary location in Incline Village, NV with potential coverage at the main hospital
- Main hospital operates 24/7 with 10-hour shifts plus call
- Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday, 10-hour shifts
- No weekends required
- On-call responsibilities required
- Uses EPIC EMR system
- Equipment includes Siemens CT and X-Ray systems, Philips Portable, and Fuji C-Arm
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience required, with at least 2 years in X-Ray and CT
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT) required
- California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required
- Nevada Radiologic Technologist license required (not limited license)
- Both NV and CA licenses required due to potential cross-coverage
- License required if applicable
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
Additional Information
- Responsible for performing x-rays and CT scans for both outpatient and ER patients
- Maintains cleanliness and stocking of the department
- Collaborates closely with other departments
- All radiologists are onsite, with one radiologist covering Incline Village on Tuesdays
- Contract may be extended beyond the initial 13-week assignment
