Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2 years experience and a WV license required prior to start.
Details
- CT Tech unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department patient populations
- Performs abdomen/pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and cardiac/vascular chest CT studies
- Uses Toshiba/Canon CT equipment and PACS system
- Cerner EMR experience required
- 4x12 hour night shifts from 11:00 PM to 11:00 AM
- Works every other weekend
- 13-week contract assignment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- BLS certification required
- WV license required prior to start (license required if applicable)
- ARRT(R) certification required; ARRT(CT) preferred
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Experience with Canon/Toshiba CT equipment preferred
- Skilled in starting peripheral IVs and venipuncture
- Experience with 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction preferred
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Prior travel experience preferred
Additional Information
- Responsible for image display and post-processing including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
- Performs preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Adheres to radiation safety and isolation precaution/PPE protocols
- Must live within a 75-mile radius of the facility
- First-time travelers may be considered given required travel experience preference
