Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2 years of experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a night shift contract position in Rio Rancho, NM.
Details
- CT Scan department in a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Saturday through Monday
- 36 hours per week, 3 days per week
- Floating between departments and/or local locations within 20 miles is required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of current CT Technologist experience required
- HS Diploma or GED required
- ARRT(CT) certification required
- Primary ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required (must be from American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety and Health Institute)
- NM State License required (license required if applicable)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Performs CT radiographs according to established practices and procedures
- Responsibilities include reviewing exams for clinical appropriateness, prioritizing exams, and communicating critical findings effectively
- A dosimeter (OSL or TLD) is required for radiation monitoring and must be provided prior to the start of the assignment
- Former permanent staff of this facility must wait one year before being considered as a traveler
- Previous experience at this health system may be subject to rehire eligibility review
