Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Roswell, NM, with a minimum of 2 years of experience and active NM licensure and CT certification required.
Details
- Hospital-based CT Scanner department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Procedures include CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures
- Also performs basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services
- Studies performed with and without contrast media
- EMR: Cerner with Change Healthcare PACS system
- 8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; 5x8 schedule preferred (4x10 may be accommodated)
- Rotating call required
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience required
- Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
- ARRT registration required
- NM state radiographer license required (license required if applicable)
- CT certification required
- BLS required
- Proficiency in CT scanning, C-arm procedures, surgical/sterile technique, and cross-sectional anatomy
- Experience with contrast media administration and processing of CT systems
- No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the contract start date
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic CT exams and general x-ray under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
- Navy blue scrubs required
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week for the duration of the contract
- Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
