American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1 years of experience and Level II Trauma experience for a swing shift position using GE scanners and Epic EMR.

• CT Tech unit at an acute care hospital
• 4x10-hour day/swing shifts from 11:30 AM to 9:30 PM
• Schedule includes Thursday, Friday, and every other weekend plus one additional shift
• Patient population includes adult acute care, adult outpatient, ED, ICU, Level I and Level II trauma, and pediatric acute/outpatient care
• Performs abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
• Special procedures include aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, drainage, and vascular CTA
• Uses GE scanners, Sectra PACS, and Epic EMR

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist
• ARRT CT and BLS certification required (license required if applicable)
• Level II Trauma experience required; Level I Trauma and teaching hospital experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
• Comfortable using isolation precautions and PPE

• Performs a broad range of CT imaging studies across multiple specialties and patient populations
• Completes facility orientation modules, renewed annually, with requirements varying by specialty
• Local candidates are not accepted; must reside more than 75 miles from the facility
• Requires a complete 7-year work history including clinical, non-clinical, and non-working periods
• Two professional references required, at least one from a manager, within the past year
