American Traveler is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for an acute care hospital, requiring CCC-SLP certification and 2 years of experience, with FEES and MBSS credentialing preferred.
Details- 175-bed acute care hospital setting
- Speech Therapy unit with day shift only staffing
- 4x10-hour shifts on a rotating schedule that includes weekends
- Weekend-heavy rotation schedule
- May float to acute care and inpatient rehab units
- Utilizes FEES and MBSS equipment for swallowing evaluations
- EPIC EMR system used for documentation
- 13-week assignment length
- Current SLP license required if applicable
- CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- FEES and MBSS credentialing preferred
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Professional reference required (two references required for Florida and Missouri)
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- State of Alaska fingerprinting and background check required through NABCS, with provisional or cleared status needed prior to starting the assignment
- Team player personality preferred
- Hunter green scrubs required as part of dress code
- 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered
