Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment in Wilson, NC, performing cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures in a hospital-based cath lab setting.
Details
- Work in a 1-lab Cardiac Cath Lab at a 294-bed, Joint Commission Accredited acute care hospital
- Adult and geriatric patient population with diagnoses including CAD, PAD, NSTEMI, PE, and DVT
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Equipment includes GE Innova X-ray and Merge Hemo hemodynamic monitoring system
- EMR is Meditech; experience preferred
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
- Every other weekend hours
- May float to Interventional Radiology per facility policy
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Cath Lab scrubbing experience required
- Current ACLS required; AHA certifications required
- ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required
- Rad Tech or RCIS education background required
- Experience with PCI and peripheral intervention preferred
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Performs cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures in a dedicated cath lab environment
- Orientation is bi-weekly
- Scrubs are provided
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
- Located in Wilson, NC — approximately 45 miles east of Raleigh and within 2 hours of the NC coast
