Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Washington State, with previous charge experience required and first-time travelers welcome.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting with both inpatient and outpatient cases
• Procedures and skills include stress tests, vital sign acquisition, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, sinus node rhythms, and Holter monitoring
• 3x12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• No call required
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Previous charge experience required
• Active WA state license required (license required if applicable)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Preferred certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT Advanced Certification
• Experience with recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, sinus node rhythms, Holter monitoring, and obtaining vitals
• Proficiency in Epic EMR required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Former permanent staff of this facility must have been separated for at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Former permanent employees of other (non-Swedish) Providence facilities are eligible for a travel contract after a separation of at least 3 months
• Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including location and dates
