Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Tech with at least 1 year of experience to work in a cardiac catheterization lab on a 13-week travel contract.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting within a hospital environment
- 10-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM–5:00 PM or 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience
- BLS required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
- ACLS preferred (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
- One of the following credentials required: RCIS from CCI, Cardiographic Tech from CCI, or ARRT (Radiography)
- PALS preferred (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
- License required if applicable
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately
- Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope of practice and applicable regulations
- Observe patients during procedures and report abnormal activity
- Perform specialized imaging procedures including angiography, complex vascular and non-vascular interventional and therapeutic procedures
- Monitor and recommend updates to protocols as warranted
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines and ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards
- Local candidates are accepted; however, a radius rule applies that may affect the travel pay rate — the radius distance varies by state
- COVID vaccination is not required
