Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Tech with 2 years of experience to assist with cardiac catheterization and cardiovascular procedures at an acute care facility in Cedar Park, TX.
Details
- Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab unit at an acute care hospital
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of cumulative cath lab experience
- High school diploma with 2 years of experience, an Associate's or Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience required
- BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
- One of the following credentials required: RCIS from CCI, Cardiographic Tech specializing in EP from CCI, or ARRT (Radiography, Vascular Interventional, Cardiac Interventional, or Cardiovascular Interventional)
- ACLS and PALS preferred (AHA or American Red Cross accepted)
- License required if applicable
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include assisting with procedures to analyze, diagnose, and treat the cardiovascular system
- Duties include vitals monitoring (heart rate and rhythm), anticipating case changes and physician needs, maintaining strict sterile fields, and providing patient education on post-procedure care
