American Traveler is hiring a Cardiovascular Cath Lab Tech requiring ARRT-R certification and experience with both EPIC and Cerner EMR systems.

• Hospital-based Cath Lab unit setting
• 12-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Backfill position requiring EPIC experience
• Must have experience with both EPIC and Cerner systems

• ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography) certification required
• RT (Radiologic Technologist) license required in state of practice; license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Cath Lab specialty required
• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience preferred
• One year's catheterization experience preferred
• Experience with EPIC and Cerner EMR systems required
• Recent experience within the last 3 months in the specialty required

• Assists physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular and pulmonary procedures
• Operates and troubleshoots C-Arm, angiographic injectors, and patient monitoring equipment
• Monitors, records, and evaluates patient vital signs throughout procedures
• Maintains sterile technique and adheres to infection control and radiation safety protocols
• Assists physicians with administration of contrast media via catheter or direct injection
• Acts as a resource for complex or specialized procedures
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered

• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction; local rates are the same as travel rates
