We are seeking an energetic Program Director /Day Services that can create WOW! Magic for our Guests with Developmental and Intellectual disabilities. As an American Training Program Director /Day Services, you will positively impact the lives of our Guests in our Day Program.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am – 4:30pm
What does a Program Director do?
- To oversee the day-to-day operations of the three Day Program Locations, including Site Director and Colleague supervision and development, programming, regulatory adherence, and billing.
- Develop strong relationships with funding sources to ensure incremental and continued program growth through new referrals, and new program development.
- Take leadership role in all credentialing, licensing and certification processes and standards. Develop, monitor and modify systems to ensure success metrics and outcomes in accordance with Licensing/credentialing/certification standards
Job Summary
- Oversee the functioning of the Day Program Sites to ensure proper documentation, goal setting and billing of day program services., including Day Habilitation, CBDS, Employment Services and ABI Supports.
- Establish and adhere to schedules, systems and structures that promote growth and development of the Management Team including; Site Directors, Assistant Site Directors, Coordinators, and Leads.
- Participate in the development of and adherence to an annual budget with monthly monitoring and review to assure a specified profit margin.
- Regular monitoring of Compliance Criteria set by DDS for Day Services in areas such as staffing, incident management, program development, DPPC complaints and critical safety indicators
- Ensure WOW! Magic culture is integrated into all aspects of the day-to-day operations and Colleagues fully understand, promote and adhere to ATI’s unique company culture.
- Regularly handle Manger and Colleague performance issues ensuring a supportive coaching, on-going learning approach is used in all sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to adhere to deadlines, oversee complex delivery schedules and implement systems to support the team to adhere to funding source timelines.
- Able to exercise sound judgement in the reviewing of incidents, treatment plans, submitted documentation for regulatory adherence and ensure all teams are in compliance with policies, procedures and written plans
- Able to determine when to involve VP of Branch when there is a chance of loss of funding, non-compliance with standards or policies, serious risk management issues or major changes in regulations or practices from funding source.
- Able to oversee regular reporting of issues, incidents to internal leadership, families and funding sources.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Has primary responsibility to hire, develop, coach and perform appropriate job separation for all Managers and Colleagues within the Day Service Branch working in conjunction with VP and Senior Leadership.
- Oversees, Site Directors, Assistant Site Directors, Coordinators and Lead Colleagues.
Education and Experience Requirements
- BA/BS required.
- A minimum of five years’ experience overseeing a similar service location/day program/rehabilitation program.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform all physical functions associated with personal care; lifting, transferring and positioning.
- Must be able to administer FA/CPR
- High stress environment working with firm deadlines and a multi-disciplinary team.
- Must be able to maintain a calm demeanor in a crisis
Work Environment
- Positions take place across three Day Program Locations.
- Frequent travel between sites and to outside meetings.
